Dr. Michael McCoy is a board certified Pediatrician currently practicing in the Grapevine/Colleyville area. Dr. McCoy, a native of Louisiana, is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He relocated to Dallas and completed a residency program in Pediatrics at Children's Medical Center of Dallas through the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. McCoy has been in private practice for twenty years and is an active staff member of Baylor Medical Center at Grapevine and Children's Medical Center of Dallas. Dr. McCoy is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Texas Medical Association. He is a resident of Colleyville and has a son Matthew and a daughter Katie.
Linda comes from the Pacific Northwest, and moved to the Dallas / Fort Worth area in 1974. Linda is married to Doug, has two grown sons, James and Stephen who is married with one son. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Texas Christian University in 1983. She then completed her Masters of Science in Nursing at University of Texas Arlington in 1997. As a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, she was employed at a John Peter Smith school-based clinic before coming to work with Dr. McCoy in 2003. Linda is a member of National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Robyn grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona and earned her nursing degree from Mesa Community College of Nursing in 1988. She later studied nursing at Texas Woman's University. Robyn brings 26 years of nursing experience, including Pediatric Intensive Care and Infectious Disease at Phoenix Children's and St. Joseph's Hospitals in Phoenix Arizona. She has proudly worked for Dr. McCoy at Practical Pediatrics since 2001. Robyn lives in Grapevine with her husband, JB and their two westies. They have two college aged children, Conner and Bryn.
Lisa is a Native Texan, who is full of that Southern hospitality. Lisa has 17 years of Medical Administration skills that she offers to Practical Pediatrics. 10 years of that has been proudly dedicated to working with Dr. McCoy. She loves spending time with her family and being outdoors. She lives in Keller, her hometown, with her husband David, two girls, Emily and Megan.
A nurse is available during regular business hours to answer any questions and give advice. Nurse calls are returned in order they are left and by the nature of call. In case of emergency please dial 911. Between the hours of 4:30 pm and 8:30 am Monday through Friday, weekends and holidays please dial the main office number and a nurse will be paged to return your call. Please be aware there is a $10.00 fee for all after-hour calls, per call that is not billable to your insurance.
When calling for a refill on an existing prescription, please contact your pharmacy and they will contact our office. Controlled prescriptions must be requested 24 hours prior to pick up. There will be a $25.00 fee for same day pick up.
